TARLAC— Congressman Jaime Eduardo Marc Diaz Cojuangco of Tarlac’s 1st District continues to win the hearts of his constituents—not only through his public service, but also through his humility, approachability, and clear dedication to the people. The young lawmaker, son of the late Congressman Carlos “Charlie” Cojuangco, is proving that leadership runs not just in name, but in values and action.

During a recent visit by the Central Luzon Balita News Team, anchor Angel Faith Danganan praised Congressman Jaime for being "humble and accommodating," echoing sentiments shared by many of his constituents and colleagues. She noted how rare it is to meet a public servant who is “lapitin ng tao”—someone naturally magnetic to the public, regardless of position.
Angel Faith also recalled a memorable encounter with the late Charlie Cojuangco, sharing her admiration for the former congressman’s sincerity and grassroots approach. “Nakakatuwang makita na pareho sila ng ama niya,” Angel shared. “Pareho silang madaling lapitan, may malasakit, at parehong pursigido para sa ikabubuti ng Tarlac.”

Congressman Jaime, now in his 2nd full term, carries forward the vision of his father with a modern, youth-driven approach—yet remains anchored in the same core mission: to uplift the lives of Tarlaqueños. His focus includes improving infrastructure, supporting agriculture and local livelihood, and integrating digital innovation for faster and more transparent government services.
“Every project I push, every community I visit, I carry my father’s legacy with me,” Jaime said. “He showed me that true leadership is being present and listening. That’s the kind of leader I strive to be.”
With growing support and a grounded approach to governance, Jaime Cojuangco is proving that the Cojuangco legacy is not only alive—it is evolving for the betterment of a new Tarlac.
