Philippine Airlines to Resume Clark – Basco Flights in July
PAL- Clark Pampanga

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the reintroduction of flights between Clark and Basco, Batanes, starting July 2, 2024.

This move will make the picturesque destination of Basco more accessible to leisure travelers and tourists from Central and Northern Luzon. The direct Clark – Basco – Clark service will provide convenience and ease, eliminating the need for travelers to go to Manila by land to connect to Basco.

The Clark-Basco route will operate four times weekly via PR 2688 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Flights will depart Clark International Airport at 11:00 AM and arrive in Basco at 12:35 PM. The return service, PR 2689, will operate on the same days, departing Basco at 1:00 PM and arriving in Clark at 02:35 PM. This direct service complements PAL’s existing daily Manila-Basco service.

PAL currently operates daily flights from Clark to Cebu, thrice weekly to Caticlan (Boracay), and four times weekly to Busuanga (Coron).

The resumption of this service will not only benefit travelers but also provide opportunities for travel and business for residents of Basco. PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng expressed his delight in reviving the Clark-Basco service and stated that PAL will continue to grow its network from Central Luzon.

Clark LIPAD, the consortium managing Clark International Airport, welcomed the revival of the Clark to Basco route by PAL. Noel Manankil, President and CEO of LIPAD, emphasized the importance of this renewed connection in promoting tourism and fostering connections across the country.

For flight reservations, travelers can contact PAL Hotline (+632) 8855-8888, visit the PAL mobile app, or the PAL website at www.philippineairlines.com.
