The program opened with welcome remarks from PCCI Tarlac President Aileen Chan, setting the tone for the region’s largest business convergence. This was followed by a preface on the NLABC by PCCI Regional Governor for Central Luzon Cristina Tuzon, who emphasized the conference’s role in aligning regional development priorities.
PCCI Tarlac Executive Director Maiko Pascual then presented an overview of the 35th NLABC, highlighting its theme, “North Luzon Now: Stronger in Inclusivity and Sustainable Prosperity,” which underscores the urgency of building resilient and inclusive economies.
A message from PCCI North Luzon Area Vice President Atty. Maria Amalia Cayanan reinforced the organization’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Messages of support were also delivered by Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap, along with the presence of pharmaceutical entrepreneur Melissa Yeung-Yap, signaling strong backing from both government and business leaders.
The NLABC is recognized as the premier regional platform that convenes leaders from government, industry, and development institutions to align strategies and accelerate inclusive economic growth across North Luzon. This year’s conference aims to transform dialogue into coordinated action by addressing fragmented development priorities, strengthening MSME integration, and fostering structured public-private partnerships.
With over 400 expected participants from Regions 1, 2, 3, and the Cordillera Administrative Region, the 35th NLABC is poised to generate actionable commitments, promote regional competitiveness, and position North Luzon as an integrated growth corridor.
