TARLAC CITY — In a momentous gathering marked by purpose and pride, the Rotary Club of Central Tarlac officially inducted Atty. Jose Marie “PJ” Baluyot as its 49th President, ushering in a new era of leadership anchored in unity and service.

Held before an audience of Rotarians, distinguished leaders, partners, family, and friends, the ceremony was a testament to the enduring spirit of the club and its commitment to making meaningful impact in the community.

In his powerful inaugural address, Atty. PJ, a respected lawyer and passionate community servant, underscored the weight of responsibility that comes with leading a service-driven organization. “This year’s theme, Unite for Good, is not just a slogan—it’s a challenge,” he said with conviction. “It calls us to go beyond comfort zones, to lead with humility, and to serve with compassion.”

Drawing from his legal experience, Pj emphasized the importance of action over rhetoric, likening the advocacy for justice to the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self. “Leadership is not about standing in front—it’s about standing with,” he added, as he committed to leading the club side by side with his members.

Atty. PJ also paid tribute to the legacy of past presidents and acknowledged the steadfast support of his family and peers. He promised a term defined by collective action, purpose-driven initiatives, and projects that respond to the urgent needs of the community.

As the Rotary Club of Central Tarlac steps into another dynamic year of service, its new president leaves the club with a rallying call: “Let us unite not in name only, but in vision, in action, and in heart. Let us Unite for Good.”

Indeed, under the leadership of President PJ Baluyot, the club is poised to take bolder strides in service and solidarity—together, for the greater good.

Ms. Angel Faith Danganan serves as the President of Central Luzon Balita and has worked as a broadcast journalist with the news group for less than a decade. Originally from Capas, Tarlac, she actively participates in numerous civic groups and public service initiatives. She took up her Broadcast communication studies at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila.
