ARMOR DIVISION HOLDS MEDIA MEETING, ELECTS NEW PRESS CORPS LEADERS
CAPAS, TARLAC — In a continued effort to strengthen ties with the media, the Armor “Pambato” Division of the Philippine Army, through its Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) led by Acting Chief Victor Leopoldo, successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Media Meeting for 2026 on March 26 at the Headquarters Armor Division, Camp O’Donnell.

LThe activity brought together representatives from various media organizations to enhance coordination, promote transparency, and reinforce partnership between the military and the media sector. It also aimed to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of the Armor Division’s programs, updates, and initiatives to the public.

 

A highlight of the gathering was the Election of Officers of the Armor (Pambato) Press Corps for the 2026–2027 term. Angel Faith Danganan was elected as President, joined by Dina Diaz as Vice President for Print, Arvin Cabrera RPMG Chief Operations Officer and Luzon Regional Operations Manager as Vice President for Radio, Renzso Pagaling as Vice President for Television, and Ronald Dizon of Tarlakenyo as Vice President for Digital.

 

The newly formed leadership also includes Ismael Mateo of Net25 as Secretary, Ara Jamica Repares of the Philippine Information Agency as Assistant Secretary, and Noel Diaz as Business Manager. Completing the Board of Directors are Marlyn Tiamzon (DZTC), Menchie Hernandez (Informer), Fred Fausto (Tarlac Weekly Post), Alice Frio, one FM, Grace Sansano (DZRH), and Billy Nuqui (Pitik na Balita), with Willy Santos serving as Charter President.

 

The newly elected officers are expected to play a vital role in strengthening media engagement and advancing the Armor Division’s public information efforts—fostering a more informed, connected, and resilient Filipino community through responsible and collaborative journalism.

Ms. Angel Faith Danganan serves as the President of Central Luzon Balita and has worked as a broadcast journalist with the news group for less than a decade. Originally from Capas, Tarlac, she actively participates in numerous civic groups and public service initiatives. She took up her Broadcast communication studies at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila.
