Comelec Launches 'Register Anywhere' Campaign for Voter Registration

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is urging the public to register as voters through its Register Anywhere Program (RAP). This program allows individuals to register regardless of their current residence.

City of San Fernando, Pampanga (CSFP) Election Officer June Guiao emphasized the importance of voting, especially for the youth, in nation-building. He stated that voting is a privilege that not all countries have, making it crucial for Filipinos to register and participate in the elections.

The RAP aims to simplify the voter registration process for the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE). Comelec CSFP will conduct a RAP activity at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga from April 1 to 6, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Registration is also available at Comelec CSFP’s office from Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, until September 30, 2024. The office will be closed from March 28 to 30 for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old on election day (May 12, 2025), have been a resident of the Philippines for at least one year, and have been a resident in the area where they intend to vote for at least six months before the 2025 NLE.

Applicants must fill out an application form, available for free at Comelec offices or downloadable from the Comelec website and printed on long bond paper (8 in. x 13 in.). Valid IDs with the applicant's signature must also be provided.
