DB Tarlac, DOST, TCSDO opens Regional Mobile Science Centrum in Tarlac City
Don Bosco Tarlac, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Tarlac City Schools Division Office (TCSDO), proudly launched the Regional Mobile Science Centrum (RMSC) on April 22, 2024, at the Don Bosco Gymnasium.

The event commenced with welcoming remarks from Mr. Karl Josh M. Guillermo, the Institutional Research Officer of DB Tarlac, and was attended by distinguished guests including Dr. Julius Ceasar Sicat, the DOST Regional Director, Dr. Irelyn Tamayo, the Tarlac City Schools Division Superintendent, and Hon. KT Angeles-Go, City Councilor, who all expressed their support for the initiative.

Dr. Sicat emphasized DOST's commitment to supporting science and engineering projects to cultivate more scientists, engineers, and researchers in the country. Dr. Tamayo, on behalf of DepEd TCSDO, pledged strong support for educational activities that broaden learners' horizons.

The RMSC at Don Bosco Tarlac is the first of its kind in a private school in Tarlac City. It features 22 interactive science exhibits, open for public viewing from April 22 to May 10, 2024, at Glowicki Hall, Senior High School Building, Sto. Cristo Campus, Don Bosco Tarlac. Both private and public schools were invited to participate in this enlightening event, highlighting the accessibility of science to all.

The opening of the RMSC underscores the belief that science is not distant but rather a part of our everyday lives, enriching our understanding of the world around us.
