ARMOR DIVISION HIGHLIGHTS MODERNIZATION PUSH, STRENGTHENS MEDIA PARTNERSHIP
CAPAS, TARLAC — The Armor “Pambato” Division of the Philippine Army, under the leadership of Ronel R. Manalo, underscored a major leap in the country’s defense capability during its 1st Quarter Media Meeting held March 26 at Camp O’Donnell, Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac.

In a media briefing, Manalo described the Sabrah Light Tank Fleet as a “game-changer” for the division—marking the Philippine Army’s first modern light tank capability. The newly acquired fleet significantly enhances firepower, mobility, and protection compared to previous armored assets, setting a new standard in land defense and reinforcing the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ modernization efforts.

The media engagement, organized by the Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) led by Acting Chief LTC Victor Leopoldo, aimed to strengthen collaboration between the military and media stakeholders. It also served as a platform to promote transparency, improve coordination, and ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of key updates and initiatives from the Armor Division.

The activity reaffirmed the unit’s commitment not only to national security but also to building a strong and credible partnership with the media in informing the Filipino public.
