Among the awardees were businesses like Asumco Paint and Hardware, Freeway Commercial, Hamby Fastfood, and SPF Fastfood McDo, recognized for their consistent contributions over the years.
Mayor Lazatin also reflected on his father's legacy and commitment to keeping Angeles City business-friendly. He emphasized his administration's efforts to efficiently collect taxes and maintain a surplus, which has led to increased revenue for the city. Additionally, he highlighted several benchmark programs and initiatives funded by these taxes, such as the Walang Plastikan, Plastik Palit Bigas project, and various welfare programs for the homeless and abused individuals.
The event was attended by Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, members of the Angeles City Council, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, and Department Heads and Chief of Offices, underscoring the city's commitment to working closely with the business sector for mutual growth and development.
