It was a bright day of hope and healing in La Paz, Tarlac, as First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos visited the town on October 21, 2025, to lead the LAB for All Caravan—a program that delivers free medical checkups, medicines, and government services straight to the people.
The event, held under the Bagong Pilipinas program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., also marked the turnover of a mobile clinic to the municipality—a welcome addition to La Paz’s health services, especially for far-flung barangays.
Mayor Venus Jordan, together with municipal officials, personally welcomed the First Lady and her delegation. Representatives from various national agencies—including health, welfare, and livelihood offices—joined the caravan to provide on-the-spot services for residents.
Among those who witnessed the occasion was Angel Faith Danganan, President of Central Luzon Balita and a proud Rotarian, who described the visit as “a blessing for La Paz and its people.”
Also present was Atty. PJ Baluyot, President of the Rotary Club of Central Tarlac, who later posted photos on Instagram showing him with the First Lady. In his caption, he expressed gratitude to First Lady Liza Marcos and the LAB for All team for bringing essential government services closer to ordinary Lapazeños.
Why This Matters to Every Filipino
Programs like LAB for All remind us that public service should travel—literally—to reach every Filipino, even in the smallest towns. When leaders step out of Manila and go where the people are, it strengthens trust, empathy, and unity—the real backbone of a “Bagong Pilipinas.”
Could this model of mobile and inclusive service be the future of governance in the country?
